We are looking for a Content Marketer with a passion for content creation, copywriting and skincare. The successful candidate is a native Dutch speaker, fluent in English and has a sixth sense for creating compelling content with the power to build a cult following. The Content Marketer is part of the marketing team and reports to the Brand Manager.
The position is full-time and available directly at our headquarter office in Amsterdam. We have a flexible working policy, working both remotely and from the office depending on each individual and team’s needs.
What you’ll be doing:
Enabling community-led growth through a focus on quality content and storytelling.
Identifying customers’ needs, trending topics and the gaps in our content to recommend new topics for the content planning.
Writing engaging content deliverables in the form of blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, advertisements, landing pages, product descriptions and so on.
Writing creative and impactful copy that supports the go-to-market strategy and launch of new products and product updates
Researching topics related to skin science and skincare that enables us to cut through the noise, not add to it.
Coordinating content creation with a network of freelance content producers and skincare experts.
Ensuring an all-around consistency in our tone of voice.
Coordinating the localisation of new and existing content in our target languages.
Conducting keyword research and deploying SEO best practices to increase our web traffic.
Conducting A/B testing to explore which variation of content works best based on data returned.
Reporting on content-relevant KPIs and formulating actions for improvement.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
At least 3 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing or journalism in a digital-first editorial or lifestyle industry.
Strong expertise or the desire to become an expert in skin science and skincare
Attention for detail, a structured mind and a proactive attitude
Experience managing an editorial calendar
Experience with SEO content writing and web traffic metrics
Native Dutch speaking and near-native writing skills in English
Great affinity with content creation, skincare and technology
Mastering an additional language (in particular German, Spanish or French) is a big plus.
